a little story to share, that triggered my thoughts.
it’s another typical weekend that I decided to get my hair cut. as usual, I only had my back door keys. I couldn’t find my black slippers that I always wear at the back door. out of convenience and laziness, I wore my red slippers out.
so this is what happened, my hairdresser asked me to come back 2 hours later. so I decided to head to the ATM to withdraw money. while walking to the ATM, I stepped on a piece of disgusting chewing gum that someone spit.
this actually triggered my thoughts. 1. if i haven’t been so lazy, i would have worn my favorite black slippers out and have it stuck with this disgusting piece of chewing gum.
2. but then again, if my hairdresser haven’t asked me to come back later, I would not have gone to the ATM and stepped on the disgusting piece of chewing gum.
3. since im going to withdraw money, earlier or later, there would still a probability that i step on it. but if i have gone later, someone else might have stepped on it?
so many possibilities could have happened and so many if surfaced. that’s why, I truly believe that everything happened for a reason. every move you make. every choice you take. it will lead to a different outcome.
if you have a chance to change it, what will you want to change? but there might be a consequence of a different outcome.
